Hestia Harvest Soap is of the small batch, handcrafted variety using the old-fashioned cold process method. Diving into the history of soap making, the origin of soap can be traced to a Roman legend on Mount Sapo, a site of sacrifices where ash and animal fat were collected under ceremonial altars. Hestia is the Roman goddess of Hearth and Home. Her name means “the essence”, the true nature of things. This soap packaging design incorporates the origin story or with the modern-day commitment to creating something from the raw through careful extraction from nature. The color palette is derived from the natural ingredients and the patterns stem from those found in Greek and Roman art.
